Seems like Sugawara Sayuri isn't good enough for us English speaking countries and so Square Enix have decided to change it in time for the March 9th release to something... well, let's just say it's something...

    It's not that bad actually.

I can see it being a good credits song.

EDIT: 'go' instead of 'good' in the description, if that could be changed, please?

I don't mind either of them, but the whole 'Jap>Eng' just took a new turn for the worst.

Not a huge fan of Leona Lewis as I absolutely despise Mariah Carey and Leona is only famous for imitating her.

NOO I HATE LEONA LEWIS! NOOOOOOO

You know, i don't mind when they have someone just singing the song of the opening theme instead of their usual music without singing, but thats terrible, why not do something like this?

It was okay... until the beat started. *cringe*

Don't get me wrong, I like the song itself. But it doesn't really have the 'epic' feeling of other FF songs. It just sounds like any ol' thing you hear on the radio.

      What are you talking about?

The beat is the greatest part of the-- oh now I hear it.

......damn. Not bad, but it just doesn't sound like a Final Fantasy game. AT ALL.

Yeah, the song doesn't make me think "Final Fantasy" at all.

Course, I can't make out the lyrics, so meh.

I hate to say it, but I prefer the Japanese one

    *sigh*

Same here, the Japanese one is slightly better than the English one, IMO.

Better than that shit the Japanese version has.

Oh... Now it just seems like I'm saying that to be different and there's no way to prove how incredibly genuine that feeling is.

I honestly hope this is some horribly-timed April fool's joke courtesy of Square Enix.

Anything Nobuo Uematsu would've come up with would have owned the hell out of this.

Leona Lewis: "What the *bleep* is a Final Fantasy and why do they want my song?"

It's funny because I'm saying the same thing about Leona Lewis. I have never heard of her before.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the Japanese one. Japanese pop doesn't sound appealing to me at all. But their orchestral scores are incredible.

oh c'mon why put some britney spears crap into final fantasy xiii theme ? this is same mistake as Street Fighter IV had .... for epic games should be epic music for example orchestral choirs or classic remakes whatever but not some hot boobs singing random words.... i guess japanese are trolling NA/EU with all those title theme songs

Same mistake as SF4 had? SF4 music was perfect for the game.
