Sony breaks down its promised "380 PS3 games" forecast

Start loading up your piggy bank you Sony fanatics. According to Sony Entertainment President Kazuo Hirai, over two-hundred Playstation 3 games will be released by March of 2008. I for one, am really excited for this announcement. Maybe that signals some news about Dynasty Warriors 6 in the near future? Or it also confirms rumors of Grand Theft Auto IV's early release. Either way, this is good news for any Playstation 3 owner. A bigger variety of games is always good. If this is to happen, the PS3 is bound to catch upto the Xbox 360, and dominate the Wii in sales! Just because they were behind at the beginning, doesn't mean their second breathe hasn't came around.

"Sony Computer Entertainment President Kazuo Hirai has stated that the PS3 will have over 200 software titles and 180 download titles by next March 2008.

Hirai was quoted by Nikkei newspapers stating that the 200 software and 180 download-only titles would be ready by March 2008.

As of right now there are 60 software titles and 50 download-only titles meaning by next March will be seeing 140 new PS3 games and 130 new download-only games.
