Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that Capcom's forthcoming Lost Planet 2 will feature Resident Evil's Albert Wesker as an unlockable character as part of the official pre-order incentive.

Capcom Europe has today revealed that pre-ordering the forthcoming sequel to 2007’s Lost Planet: Extreme Condition will earn gamers a very special reward. Set for release in early 2010 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Lost Planet 2 will offer deeper insight into the world of E.D.N III and the uncertain fate of future mankind.

    Why is this an incentive? Its not really that tempting, and knowing Capcom, it'll just end us as DLC for $5.00.

    But he didn't say anything about him showing up in another franchise!
