Ten Ambiguously Gay Game Characters

Hmm... Gay Game Characters? The only one I knew was in Indigo Prophecy. Pity I can't remeber his name. I think he was Carla Valenti's neighbour in that game. And he's not even included in this list!

OK. Here goes.

6. Tidus (Final Fantasy X)
5. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII) (Huh???)
4. Raiden (Metal Gear Solid 2)
3. Dante (Devil May Cry 3)
2. Voldo (Soul Calibur II)
1. The Arbiter (Halo 2)

Gay is good! Homosexually-tinged characters are finally seeping into video games, one of the last bastions of rigid, uber-masculine heterosexuality. So in the spirit of fun, here's a look at some classic game characters who might just be a tad light in their loafers...not that there's anything wrong with that!

    To anyone who is reading this, that article is bull crap, It names characters like Dante and Sephiroth as gay and gives stupid reasons for the site choosing them. It wasn't even funny

    Haha, how did Samus get in there. I don't see how anyone could picture her as gay. Sephiroth, haha, same story. A few on the list I can understand though. ~_^

    I can see how they would call Voldo gay, buy i find him Bi-Sexual. He also assaults women on Soul Calibur...

    That doesn't really make sense, Samus isn't even male, she would have to be lesbian not gay . Voldo at least makes sense, but then again, he isn't even really a living character (or at least he just seems to be an undead character).

    None of those characters come across as partriculary gay to me, Voldo maybe, but not really the rest. I suppose Guile has the whole top gun thing going on, but most of the list hasn't much basis.

    Ok first off Zangief isnt gay he is a russian wrestler.
    Correct me if im wrong but isnt Raphael a girl?
    Guile isnt gay, unless they think men with big muscles are gay?
    Samus like many has said is a girl, so she would have to be lesbo.
    Tidus isnt gay cause he falls in love with yuna.
    Sephiroth isnt gay unless they think him toying with cloud is homosexual?
    Raiden isnt gay, cause when have we seen Raiden make out with the same sex during MGS2 a game about shooting?
    Dante OMG how can he be gay? Unless they think since he hasnt made out with any girl he's gay?
    Voldo definitely not gay at all.
    Last The Arbiter, how can this person be gay?

    From all of this its either the biggest load of BS i have ever read. Or they think their names are gay, but again how can names be gay?

    Did any of you actually read the article? It only calls the Arbiter as actually gays and for the rest it states believable details as how they are straight but could easily go the other way.

    Though I'm surprised that Sephiroth is on the list. Did they forget Cloud? He dressed as a women, bathed with men in speedos, and followed a MAN (who ended up topless) around the entire world for a whole week.
    Plus he is completely oblivious to Aerith and Tifa's flirting.

      However GG he had to dress up for the sake of saving tifa. And that hot tube scene was optional. And he was only chasing a clone or illusion of sephiroth. SO in the end he isn't gay. I also think he isn't completely oblivious to Aeris since he got very pissed when she died. And Ac show you more. As for tifa well perhaps he didn't like her as a GF.

    I have to admit, Gothic girls comment made me lol. I dont see how Sephiroth is even remotely gay, outside of his new duds in Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts 2, he seems rather straight. I think voldo is the only one who actually belongs on that list...He's a golem, not undead btw

    Sephiroth and Guile definitely should not be there. I also question Zangief's presence on the list. Raiden's too! Yeah, that's right, I said Raiden shouldn't be there. He might be a candidate if it wasn't for his involvement with Rose. Due to Tidus' love of Yuna that is apparent in X and X-2, we know he isn't.

    40% of that list is definitely bullshit, due to Zangief not having enough of a background to make a judgment call on, I can't say; but he possibly makes the list 50% bullshit.

    Like many people have said though, I'm surprised that Sephiroth is on there. Perhaps they just have a thing for him ??
