Square Enix cranks out yet another limited edition DS Lite

Just how much do you love your relationship with the global Nintendo DS phenomenon? And exactly how deep are your gaming pockets? For why? Because no sooner is the Pikachu yellow DS Lite announced than developer Square Enix chucks a swanky embossed "Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Rings of Fates" DS Lite model own out the door. Will the limited-edition DS madness ever end? We still want one though.

The bad news: yes, this limited edition DS Lite is available in Japan only. The good news: unlike the rather awesome special edition, Pikachu-embossed, yellow DS Lite GamerSquad reported on a while ago, you dont actually have to ask for an application to buy this one. Hence, these puppies are far more import-friendly.

With all of these limited edition DS', they won't be very limited anymore. :\

  I think each limited edition one is limited. So if you really dig the pikachu one and you gotta have one, supplies may be running out, even though they're making LE of other DSs.

I like the look of most of them, but what happens in a few years when you're sick of the game in question? It's like wandering around with the username "Pikachulovesyou" or something.

Oh, wait, they will probably be a new system by then, so this one will be obsolete. My bad.

There's too many limited editions to be honest. I think it's pretty stupid too.
