Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that episodes from the Ace Attorney series starring Phoenix Wright will arrive on WiiWare early next year.

Capcom Entertainment has today announced that three classic Ace Attorney games are scheduled for digital release on Nintendo’s WiiWare next year. The series of WiiWare releases will begin right at the start, with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney followed by Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trails and Tribulations. Gamers can expect the deliberations to begin January 2010, with a price of 1,000 Wii Points each.

    Well, it's not a new Wii title, but the games are epic. This is a great chance for non-DS owners (but why would you own a Wii without having a DS?) to experience the series.

    I was hoping for a bit higher quality graphics, maybe a bit higher resolution, but still. It's Ace Attorney. I'm happy with it. And I agree with Storm. I don't own a DS, but borrowed one to play the games is all. I'll be very happy to be able to play them on my own with no borrowing, so yeah, this makes me smile on the inside.

    I could see this being pretty cool, it should come with some microphone peripheral perhapes to yell "Objection!!". xD

      It's a downloadable set of games... how can it come with a peripheral?
