Dev's behind Critter Crunch, a cute little indie game on PSN, have spoken out and how supportive Sony is for indie games. They mention how They are constantly helped with working the Phrye Engine, even when sales were not as expected. Sony has also supported many other independent companies such as ThatGameCompany and Q-Games.
"They support the living sh*t out of it, and they support it really well," Capybara's Nathan Vella told Gamasutra when talking about Sony's free PhyreEngine. "Any of the parts that are inside Phyre that we didn't know how to fix or we had an issue with, they would fix it for us in a day. Overall, I think Sony's doing a lot of right stuff for small independent developers."

Still good to hear though that they DO support them like they do.
@Hisservent~Yeah it does kind of suck that they take more money, but at least they are getting their games released and exposed such as through the .Blog. I mean games such as flower or the pixeljunk games probably wouldn't be as popular or sold as many units if they released on lives indie market thingy, or the PC.
