The Manhunt 2 media circus continues today, with the CEO of Running with Scissors weighing in with his two cents' worth on the whole affair. What do you think about it all? Us, we reckon there's no such thing as bad press and, once the game does arrive (watered down or otherwise), Rockstar and Take Two will probably be laughing all the way to the controversy bank.

After this week's major gaming news surrounding the banning of Rockstar Games' stabby-stabby, killy-killy adult-themed thriller, Manhunt 2, the CEO of Running with Scissors has revealed he doesn't think the Manhunt 2 ban will do anything other than pacify politicians and damage creators Rockstar and the games industry as a whole.

Well that CEO is part of a company that until Manhunt came along was making the most violent gaming franchise in the world, the game in question is "Postal" and he has every right to be worried when his game "Postal 3" is coming out on Xbox 360 next year, if a game on a console medium with rather lackluster graphics these days can get banned without including sex then what hope does his next gen slaughter sim have heh, in the past he was fine the BBFC didn't give a damn but now if they keep up this censoring rampage his game will never see the light of day.

he's an interesting guy, having to defend a game like manhunt, and being so determined. I figure it'd take some brains to get it done without just repeating "free speech! free speech!" I wonder what his arguments will be in his appeal.
