Okay, so there's this guy who marries a video game character and... Oh, wait, this isn't a joke. Sadly, it's real.
This week an unnamed Japanese man formally married Nene Anegasaki, a character from the Nintendo DS dating sim Love Plus, in a Guam church. The man brought his DS and the game to the church and they are now legally married. (See the "happy couple" in the photo below.)
The man will be holding the reception in Japan tomorrow and has invited many important media figures to attend the event. His wedding video will also be uploaded onto the 'net, so be sure to keep an eye out for it!
Hmmm... I wonder how the honeymoon will go down?
We've heard tons about DS game Love Plus and all the crazy stuff it seems to make otaku do since it was released. One man has taken it as far as to actually marry the game character Nene Anegasaki in a Guam church. He also is planning a wedding reception back in Japan, where he apparently has invited media figures to attend.

Looks like someone tried
Seriously?
The *bleep*?
It's things like this that make me hate and love the world oh so much more. You just know that his E-Mail address is going to hit somewhere like 4chan and he's going to be completely spammed with pictures of her having sex with just about everyone else in existence
Pathetic.
I wonder how that will turn out (0_o)
I hate you.
The fact that he's shirtless in the photo of him and his wife only makes me wonder that this can't be real.
That, or, he's just doing it for publicity. Explains why he invited press members.
