Mass Effect 2 Surprise Coming Soon

According to the Mass Effect 2 Facebook fan page, Chris Priestly hinted that there would be a surprise announcement about the game sometime this week.

Man, so much time tied up today in meetings and “secret stuff” I didn’t get any time with ME2 at all. =( Still with the coming surprise for next week on the ME2 website, I’m sure fans will forgive me for no update. Did I, Evil Chris Priestly, just drop a hint? Yes. Yes I did.

    BioWare isn't being very secretive at all about Mass Effect 2. We already know a bunch of plot details, who we're fighting, returning characters...

    I think it's time to plug my ears and go, "La la la I can't hear you!"

      I did that a long time ago. Whenever you want to really enjoy a game you shut yourself off from it. I don't know anything about Mass Effect 2 hardly.

        Admittedly it doesn't necessarily ruin a game. Ubisoft was spewing Assassin's Creed II details for months, yet the game itself is still AMAZING. Still, I wish companies would just rein in the PR...

          But I think you'll admit that regardless of it "necessary" ruining a game the chance is still there that you could depending on what they "spew." However if you just go about your life without worrying about details there's no chance of ruining the game at all. No?

          There's no doubt that I have enjoyed games more when I've known little to nothing at all about them going in.

    Yeah, they said nothing about 1 until about a month before launch. This time, just everything is being let out, I think they should stay quiet about it from now on.

    I get the feeling there is going to be far more to this game than they are seeming to reveal. I expect massive twists and turns that no one is expecting. The whole over revealing approach could just be a smoke screen for them not revealing much at all.

    Its going to be about the pre order bonus I bet. But yeah, I duno if its a PS3 version, its like a month before Uncharted 3 they just go "Oh yeah, we made it for 360 too."

    Seriously. This new Grunt guy sounds cool and all, but Wrex was the main reason I loved playing Mass Effect. That guy didn't take shit from anybody, even Shepard.

    He is in it, They just needed a replacement for all those people who killed wrex. Don't forget, your save carries on.
