Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that Activision, Infinity Ward, GAME and Xbox LIVE have teamed-up to promote a charitable initiative in support of War Child.

Activision, Infinity Ward, GAME and Xbox LIVE have teamed-up to promote a charitable initiative in support of War Child. Known as Game for Good, Xbox LIVE gamers who log-on to play the phenomenally successful Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will not only be entering one of the most aggressive playing fields in modern videogaming, but will also be aiding the charity.

      I agree! At first I thought "hmm... killing people to raise money for children in warzones???", but then, they could have just done nothing. I think it's good that Activision and infinty Ward are going to give away all this cash cause it's not the big boys infleuncing the public to donate money, for once it's actually the big boys paying themselves.

      It costs you nothing, so if you have a disc just stick it in for five minutes. I'm not going to be playin CoD: MW2 this weekend, but I'll put it in for 5 mins jsut to help.
