The upcoming installment in the .hack series of video games has been pushed back by a month. Namco Bandai has confirmed that they will not be able to meet the expected release date of February 2010. In the mean time you can try the demo right now.
You can also figure out which version to buy as the final release will have some pricey bundles along with it.
The final game in the .hack series won’t be ready in February 2010 as planned. Namco Bandai pushed .hack//Link back a month to March 4.
Not sure if you want to buy .hack//Link? Sample it. A demo is available on video game sites like Game Watch and will be on Japan’s PlayStation Store shortly.
Namco Bandai is planning two versions of .hack//Link. The game on a UMD plus a .hack//historical disc DVD covering past titles will cost 6,279 yen ($72). A box set containing .hack//Link, the DVD, .hack//re-birth (anime episodes on voice dramas) on a Blu-ray disc, and two art books will retail for 10,749 yen ($123).
Pre-order either of those and you get another DVD featuring Haseo from .hack//G.U. and Aspel, the protagonist in Tales of Graces, in an animated crossover.
