Microsoft is supposed to roll out a new discount service for Xbox LIVE. The discounted items will be priced cheaper during holidays and the content will vary daily. However, the deals will change depending on location.

Microsoft is about to run an advent calendar-style (read: Christmas countdown) promotion where movies and games, depending on your location, will be discounted for one day only.

The news comes from Q Entertainment’s twitter account, which informs us Rez HD will be one of the discounted items. However, you need to be in Mexico, Portugal, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Singapore to take advantage of the deal.

Residents in other territories like North America, Canada, and Europe will be able to get special deals in the video marketplace. Content has not been announced, but we’ll be on the lookout for more leaks.
