An interview with Masashi Muramori, Clap Hanz president, focusing on the PS3's anticipated Hot Shots Golf 5.

I may be critical, but graphics seem GameCube-esque, and the style seems altogether more suited to the Wii.

Clap Hanz president Masashi Muramori recently sat down for an interview about his beloved Hot Shots franchise. The interview covered many topics, from the possibility of new sports to explore, previous games' success and of course, the PS3's anticipated Hot Shots Golf 5.

Wouldn't something like this be more suited to the Wii than the PS3?

On the other hand, no need to deprive gamers of certain kinds of games just because there are other systems.

Probably, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be on another.

Games likes these I feel developers should make multi-platform. They appeal to a lot of people, and I'm sure there's more than a fair share of number who would love to play this on the Wii.

Wow, I love how just because a game has a very stylized look they think the graphics can't be good.

I've played the crazy ass Japanese demo of this game for the PS3 and it looks quite good. The character models are very smooth and they have some very very smooth shading and self shadowing going on. Everything is very cartoony and stylized as such but the graphics are still pretty good. Better than the Wii could produce for sure.

Besides, Hot Shots Golf has always been like this, since it was first created on the PS1, how am I the only one that knows that Hot Shots Golf has been around on Sony platforms since the PS1?!

Your not the only one. I remember those games on the ps1. They looked like that. And they were cool games. This looks very sharp, and something the wii couldn't hope to pull off.
The only thing left is to Utilize the Six-axis tilt feature and this will sell like hotcakes.
