VGarabia.com introduce to you the candidates for the Best Of 2009. You can vote on more than twenty different categories including Worst game of the year, Best First Person Shooter, Best RPG, and many many more. Hurry up and vote.

What a great year it was for gamers. Aside from a few disappointing games and some not so pleasant news this year (Closure of Pandemic Studios), we (and of course you) have been enjoying some great games across all platforms throughout the whole year.

Anyway, we are here at VGarabia.com introduce you to our candidates for the Best Of 2009. We believe that we have created the best list possible for each nomination. You can vote on more than twenty different nominations, from the Worst game to the best of 2009.

    Heh, Uncharted 2 seems to be dominating in every category its in.

    I don't agree with it having the best Artistic Design, though.

    Yeah, I think that either Assassin's Creed 2 or Muramasa should win the best artistic design.

      I agree here. Muramasa should easily be getting Artistic Design, mainly because the whole game is practically a moving painting. Uncharted just looks pretty in that regard.

      I saw the little article picture and thought Batman looked like Master Chief, at which point I thought to myself "please don't tell me they put ODST in here too..."

    I don't see why Uncharted is so coveted just cause its the first top quality shooter on the PS3 -_-

    I hate to say this, but it seems the site is over-run with PS3 fanboys. Uncharted 2 winning every category, Killzone beating Modern Warfare for best shooter (wtf?), Fat Princess beating Shadow Complex for best downloadable, God of War most anticipated (though that is fair enough) etc.

    I just don't think that Uncharted is worthy of getting over 10x's more votes than anything else. I have no problem if it gets GotY but can we stop fondling over it like its the new son of Jesus?

      Yup, instant Sony Fanboy votes. Seriously the site seems to be crawling with Sonybots.

      Uncharted 2 definitely doesn't deserve to be top in all the categories =/

    LAME. I agree with Aussie Legend. Unchated 2 doesn't even deserve GotY. It sure as hell didn't last me a YEAR. That's the problem with picking the GotY. You wanna pick a game that lasts most of the year. Uncharted 2 only lasted me like a month. That's pathetic. It got 10x more votes? PS3 that's completely garbage..Modern Warfare 2 deserves GotY, IMO, because nothing else has surpassed that level of awesomeness. Uncharted 2 (let me finish my rant), however, does have great actions and graphics, but it really was a milked out Indiana Jones, with Resident Evil Styled shooting controls and same conceptual mechanics.

    NOW, if vgarabia.com does something else like this, im'a cap some fools.

        Yes, but this optimism is insightful to those who take Uncharted 2 up the butt (they like it waaay too much.)

    Killzone 2 more votes than COD... Demon's Soul twice as many votes as Dragon Age...

    I wonder what type of fans this websites caters to. Its demographic seems so unbiased and varied.
