Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that DICE Studios' Mirror's Edge will receive an iPhone and iPod Touch adaptation, set for release in January 2010.

While the rumour is still running wild with fans hoping for a sequel to 2008’s Mirror’s Edge, an inventive but ultimately flawed project from the developers of the widely respected Battlefield series, DICE Studios, Electronic Arts has confirmed that an adaptation of the game will be making it’s way to the iPhone and iPod Touch. Due for release in January 2010, Mirror’s Edge for iPhone and iPod Touch once again casts players as Faith Connors.
