Firmware 3.15 was recently announced by Sony and now it has officialy been launched. This firmware update is optional, so you don't need to download it to sign in to the Playstation network.

Firmware 3.15 adds the ability to play PSP mini's on your PS3. It also adds the ability to transfer data from one PS3 to another. This update is also fixes a few bugs, such as the trophy syncing issue.

To download the update, go to the settings under the XMB, and click on system software update.
