Final Fantasy XIII's been making headlines leading up to today's Japanese release. But Square Enix have given some new information about the other Final Fantasy game. They are now taking applications for beta testing the Windows version of Final Fantasy XIV. The PS3 version will be given a beta test as well, but at a later, unannounced date.
Square Enix is opening the floodgates to Eorzea by taking beta tester applications for Final Fantasy XIV.
Want in? You need to be at least 18, have a Square Enix ID account, be prepared to submit bug reports, and have an Internet connection. You probably have that last one covered. Testers will be selected based on the “content of their application” and several rounds of eager fans will get to break try Final Fantasy XIV early.
