When you work in a business such as video games, certain names can bring up a multitude of mixed emotions. Ken Kutaragi is one of those names. He has often been associated with many different terms such as: success and failure, brilliance and indigence, forthright thinking and presumed insanity. However you look at him though, Ken “Father of the PlayStation”

"For a man who at a time was the leading candidate for the position of Sony CEO, Ken Kutaragi came from humble beginnings. Born in Tokyo, August 1950, Ken came into a family that had little in the way of social standing. Even so, the Kutaragi family always had the drive and desire to work hard."

"That perseverance paid off when they were able to start their own their own Tokyo printing business in the 1960’s. He was always mechanically inclined; taking things apart from an early age, and then trying to put them back together."
