A recent interview with Phil Harrison lends some insight into the myriad of happenings going on at Sony right now, and before E3.

To start, Harrison elucidates on Home beta testing. There has been a lot of feedback from users that are currently beta testing Home.

When Harrison is questioned about third party exclusives and why Sony has not been able to secure as many as they previously had, he comments that, “I’m always concerned to make sure that consumers can buy the best games and get the best game experiences to validate their system purchase. [But] as long as the games they get are great, [consumers] don’t care if they are third-party or first-party.”

Well, it's true that in some games, I don't mind if it's first or third, but in others, the style of game and what you have to do etc suggests one type is better suited than the other.

Reading the headline, one is tempted to say "Duh!".

Who cares if it is exclusive or not? As long as it's well designed it's a game that will be good to someone.
