An article discussing a cue designed for use with the Wii.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it might not be cheaper to actually buy a real pool table at this point?

Dear third-party Wii add-on manufacturers of the World,

We simply must know: is there any real-world object out there that you won’t be recreating in cheap, off-white, moulded plastic, for use with the Wii Remote? We only ask because, well, after encountering Wiimote add-ons in the shape of tennis racquets, golf clubs, steering wheels, fishing rods, and a smorgasbord of other shapes and forms, we thought we’d truly seen the lot.

Pointless, but you somehow know it'll do well enough to spawn more useless tat. Heh!

    how much is it?
You know what I think would be a great add-on for an AO game targeting the untapped female audience in games? Wait, does the wii-mote have vibrating functions? Because I'm not sure my add on idea would work without it. . .

    Pool on your Wii?

I had the complete wrong idea about this.

      That was my aim, dear.

Another problem with this is, that, without a real pool table to rest it on, how will you manage to balance it?

Besides, a pool table has more uses...

My friend has a pool table. I'll just go there and play it.

It will never be as shiny as a Wii will ever depict. Epic failure.

Heh heh I may actually buy this, but not for the game.

Wait, is there actually a pool game to go with this?

    Wii Sports Billards.

Although there will probably be an actual game...

I already have a pool table so I don't think this is going to make it's way into my house.

I go and play Snooker at the local club like three times a week, this won't really be necessary to be honest. Even if I do end up getting a Pool game for the Wii, I will be just fine playing with the Wiimote on its own.

Depending on if you have access to a pool table, this would be pretty neat. I'd buy it if I actually had a Wii. =(

Otherwise, I bet real pool will blow this game away from the shelves.

I for one think this is cool.

If I ever bother to make enough money just to buy a Wii I will play some pool. The next thing you know you can wrestle by putting motion detectors on yourself. But who knows?

Eh, it's an okay idea, I guess. I've played the pool on wiiplay with the remote, and that does it just fine for me. If I really get the urge to play pool with a cue, I'll actually play real pool. But I'm sure people would buy it.

This sounds like it could be a cool idea, but how exactly can someone play pool using a Wii ? If they could somehow find a way to balance the cuestick, it sounds good.

I don't think this will ever match up with a real pool game. Whats the fun of it?
