Final Fantasy projects on 360 are a "Completely blank Page"

Square Enix has once again stated that there are no Final Fantasy projects for the Xbox 360. He says that there is a Crystal Chronicles game in development for the Nintendo Wii, but no Final Fantasy games on the Xbox 360.

Square Enix have come out and made a statement on Final Fantasy XIII. Shinji Hashimoto spoke to Japanese gaming magazine Nikkei BP and said that they were developing FF Crystal Chronicles for the Wii, but as for FF on the Xbox 360, its currently a completely blank page.

Given the console situation in Square Enixs main market of Japan, this wasnt totally unexpected, but it should put a stop to the usual rumour-mongering. Its worth noting that he didnt totally rule it out for some point in the future, but as they have absolutely no current plans to port the title then PS3 owners will know that FFXIII is being optimized for the PS3 rather than compromised across two platforms with different strengths and weaknesses - which has got to be a good thing.

I would much rather have Final Fantasy titles as PS3 exclusives ^^ ... I'm not a great fan of the 360 * Somanyconsolesbreak*}
