Who says Capcom don't listen to their fans? Livewii have revealed that Monster Hunter Tri won't use the friend code system, making the online service for the game much more accessible.
Forgive the online translation below.
If there is one point that Nintendo can still make progress with, it is certainly on the quality of its online gaming service and in particular on Friend Codes. And when one of the biggest upcoming games mainly based on cooperative online, Monster Hunter Tri, announces the arrival of a proper system, we can only rejoice.
Indeed, there will be no Friend Codes to add difficulty to allow you to play your prerecorded contacts in your console. Capcom uses a new system to prevent the tedious passage; now you connect directly to the game and it will look directly into your console's memory. Moreover, if one or more of your friends are online, an invitation will be sent out, asking them to join the the joy and good humor.
This is clearly good news that should make things easier for the game's community.

Hope other devs learn from this, FCs are OUT!
tl;dr, People should stop whining about FC's.
Meh, that's just an idea... I mean, things don't get changed from gamers not complaining.
Woo-hoo! Now all we have to do is wait forever until the game comes out .__.
