Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime says to Newsweek that Nintendo welcomes games rated E, T and M, and that the added movement of the Wii will not affect the rating on that system.

Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime has spoken out for the first time on the controversy surrounding Rockstar title Manhunt 2.

Speaking to Newsweek Fils-Aime said, "This is not an image issue. Wii welcomes games rated E, T and M. We haven't approved AO-rated games. I doubt we ever will."

According to Fils-Aime, Manhunt 2 is "a game rated outside our spectrum, outside any manufacturer's spectrum".

Grab some *bleeping* balls and approve them. Its no worse than hannibal or Saw the movie. I saw don't see them to anyone who doesn't have a license. Or kids who don't have there Parents with them.

So what's the point of having an Adult Only rating if it can't come out on any consoles? Personally I think Manhunt 2 should be released on all the consoles regardless of the rating.

Yeah, with all these torture movies selling like crazy, it's funny that a game about killing (not a new concept) is scaring manufacturers.

But I do wonder, HOW would take-two even begin to water down this game for a sorry M? Make the dying people groan a little softer? Reduce the gallons of blood by half? Allow only kills with guns? What would be the difference between AO and M?

This is stupid, for the reasons already mentioned.
