Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
18 hours 51 mins ago
You might remember Fox News' report on Mass Effect last year, that basically slandered the game for it's "graphic sex scenes" and "objectifying of women", despite neither the interviewer or psychology 'expert' Cooper Lawrence (who appeared in the report) ever having actually played the game. Gaming journalist Geoff Keighley tried his best to set the record straight and defend the game, but was ultimately ignored by Fox's interviewer.
Now that Mass Effect 2's release is just around the corner, Keighley recently offered Lawrence an invitation to talk about the game. But Lawrence ended up declining the offer.
The original Mass Effect, which was released for the Xbox 360 in 2007 (and later for PC in 2008), ran into some controversies due to a small non-graphic sex scene in the game.
This eventually led to an infamous Fox News segment where Psychology Specialist Cooper Lawrence and GameTrailers TV host Geoff Keighley clashed. In the video, Cooper Lawrence made several false claims demonizing Mass Effect that she later retracted and apologized for.
Geoff Keighley said on his twitter that he recently tried to invite Cooper Lawrence to chat about the upcoming sequel. Like the first game, Mass Effect 2 features a small non-graphic sex scene. The Psychology Specialist ended up declining the offer, however.
