Cool. It's always nice to have a fitting end to a good series. Instead of just drag it on.

Agreed, particuarly in a case of a series like God of War where the story is quite a crucial element. Too many franchises are milked to death these days.

WRONG my friend, GoW3 is the end of the TRILOGY, not the SERIES. i seen videos of reps saying this, multiple videos. and they won't milk it, if they are milking it, they be releasing something about the GoW universe every year like the halo franchise..... HALO IS DEAD..... HALO SUCKS...

Whether you love Halo or not, you should at least appreciate it for some of the multiplayer aspects it brought to the console multiplayer gaming area. There was a few years there where Halo was the console-online pioneer, and it certainly paved the way for future gametitles to break the mold and lessen the barriers of a console providing multiplayer.

I fail to understand this constant hatred for the entertainment values on a console you do not own. And I assume you do not own one, being smallminded in both your comments and your reasioning.

Is it unemployment? Age? What the hell drives you kind of people to constantly vomit such pathetic garbage. Some people need a life..

      Your tragic.

God of War 3 will probably be fantastic.
Halo: Reach will probably be fantastic.

      Deal with it.

I think he's just upset because no one in the "Outside World" likes him so he vents his rage here.

      GROUP HUG?

      I think not.

A swift punch to the face might work though.

Btw, if they do decide to carry on the GOW series, then wouldn't they be doing the exact same as Halo? Bringing out a new title cept it's gonna have a name referencing the first 3 games with the new title on the end?

      Your logic fails you.

I'm thinking more along the lines of they'll make a completely new series outside canon with the same gameplay mechanics and style as God of War, just with a new protagonist and setting.

If they love Kratos, they'll let him go.

I really wish you wouldn't have used that new scan as a pic. Some people don't want to see all these spoilers, ya know!?

Good thing its small enough, but still...

Good. I was wondering what the hell else there was left to do if the gods were killed off (I assume that's what will happen).

Glad some people know when to set the limit.

    Poor FF7.

FF7 wasn't killed. The games are so far detached from the main storyline I don't even know how you could let the others ruin your view of it. They at least had the decency to add subtitles and what not. Square Enix handled that well.

Besides, Crisis Core was so *bleep*ing excellent.

Won't disagree, Crisis Core is the prequel-sequel they should've made ('cept Genesis, ugh) from the beginning, and left it at that.

IMO Dirge, Before Crisis, and Advent (not a game, but still part of the franchise) all could have been done better, if at all. Stories and new characters in the games were incredibly shallow.

        I only acknowledge CC.

But what could you expect? You're comparing characters with a developed story over what is basically a 40 hour game to games (or a movie) that is meant to only run about 10 hours (2 hours) at a stretch?

          RabidChinaGirl Jan 12, 10
What does the length of the game have to do with how crappy the characters? Lots of games run 10 hours (like every game now) or so and they still pull it off.

Shouldn't have been made. I mean, money obviously, but blech.

Yeah. But someone figures they need to say it again every 3 months, then someone else will report it here as news.

Wait till they announce God of Judgement or something, playing as Anubis' petty pawn.
