Luminous Arc is a Strategy-RPG game that will hit the US shores in mid-August. And as it turns out, there WILL be Wi-Fi battles although it will be restricted to the US players to prevent them getting "raped" by Japanese players who've had the game for quite some time now. All I can say is "WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!"

Battles on Wi-Fi is surely a huge incentive to buy any game, no?

Luminous Arc, the wi-fi strategy game for DS, has finally been given a definite release date. August 14th is the date set for the Luminous Arc release in North America.

The online battles have been restricted to the US at the moment to stop Japanese gamers, who have had the game since February, trouncing virgin US players. Hopefully they will open this feature up after a bedding down period in the US.

The game looks pretty good but will have stiff competition from Final Fantasy Tactics A2 and Wild Arms XF. It seems anyone looking for a decent strategy RPG over the coming months is likely to find it on the DS.

Awesome. Just another reason for me to want to buy it. Finally, some new games that actually sound good for the DS. =D
