DIRT sells 500k copies in first week

Along with 500k demo downloads, the recently releases Colin McRae: DIRT sold 500,000 copies worldwide within it's first week, half of them within the US. The article attributes this to good teamwork within it's various departments.
Codemasters has revealed that the recently released Colin McRae: DIRT sold 500,000 copies worldwide in its first week of release.

The title has also racked up over 500,000 downloads of the PC and Xbox 360 demo
