    They first started doing this with Socom: Combined Assault thanks to, once again, the Chinese. Glad the PS3 has more protection.

      I don't think it has much more protection from this. I suspect this is merely a case of reverse engineering the 10th Prestige Hack.

      By using the game save and PC software, instead of making the level up affect you I would assume they make it an extreme level down that affects others. I am absolutely sure that the PC software could enable someone with the right knowledge to do that.

        Exept this has nothing to do with game saves. the 5 Million XP mulitplayer glitch is done with a modded xbox (as in; solders, extra wiring..) and a modded ISO burn of MW2. There is no-way to do this with transfer cables and no-way to do this on PS3 as there is currently no way to run backup games on it. You're probably thinking of the straight-to-10th-prestige glitch that only worked for about a week before being patched and can now only work in split screen.
