To be fair, Ultimate Spidey wasn't bad, neither was the film-based game, Spidey 2. And Web of Shadows had some really kickass gameplay. They just need to refine their concepts, weigh out the constant bad things about the series, and easily make a better game.
It hardly went by the movies story and had alternate stories. Plus, it had the best damn boss fight ever with Mysterio.
