The latest issue of UK Official PlayStation Magazine gives gamers a new look at Burnout Paradise for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

As previously announced, the game will be set in the beautiful Paradise City and will offer 70 square kilometers of open road to cruise around.

Destruction will once again rein king with cars literally able to be torn in two upon heavy impact. Each street will be designated with a name and stats will let players know where the most dangerous spots are located. Developer Criterion has stated in the past that it’s aiming to eliminate the use of menu screen throughout the game. Shops and services will be provided all around Paradise City, including: petrol stations to refill boost, body shops to repair damage, paint shops to change the color of your car and a junkyard used to change your vehicle.

70 kilometres of map is about 43.4 miles of area to drive in, seems to be a smaller version of Test Drive Unlimited with extreme car damage.

It seems as though Burnout is turning into a Need for Speed game. I'm sure its going to be amazing, but I'm not sure whether I'm going to like this title seeing as how its changed completely. Only time can tell ^^

... I just hope you don't have to pay to repair your car ! (( I crash a lot ))
