Guy Plays Grand Theft Auto After Real Life GTA

These amusing stories pop up now and again, this time on tbo.com. It seems a man by the name of Michael Ray Ekes was arrested in his home after committing grand theft auto. What was he doing when he was arrested? Well... playing his copy of Grand Theft Auto III.

You've got to love this guy though. When asked about the game he replied "It's a blast".

Deputies searching for a suspect they say stole a sport utility vehicle found him at his Haines City home playing the video game "Grand Theft Auto III," the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.

Michael Ray Ekes, 30, of 115 Arbuthnot Lane, was arrested and charged with – you guessed it – grand theft auto, along with burglary of a conveyance, possession of burglary tools with intent to use, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Title is a little misleading. I thought it was he goes and plays GTA after getting his freak on, which wouldn't seem that bizarre, but for an article it would.

    I lol'ed a little when I realized it wasn't. I read the first paragraph and thought, "ok, so where's the sex part?"

    Misleading Title, I thought this was about a guy who played the game after doing it (Sex) but no it was something different

    The title is a bit misleading.

    I thought it was about a guy who played GTA after base jumping off of the Empire State building while wearing a clown suit.

    Went ahead and fixed the title to make it more accurate. As for the article, I feel ashamed to say I know exactly where Haines City is now.
