Gladiator Begins for PSP Pushing Babes and Boobs Over Gameplay

The article contains information on the game's "sexy" box art that has been recently discussed for Gladiator Begins and also the DLC and promotional measures that Acquire Games has taken. The Developer had actually had female;s dressed as gladiators walking around offices.

Acquire, the developer of the popular Tenchu series, has attracted the kind of attention usually reserved for adult DVDs thanks to its hot gladiatorial action game Kentoushi: Gladiator Begins for the PSP. The developer has also promoted the game in an odd fashion. Instead of sending out screenshots like a normal company, they’ve sent out female gladiators to Japanese press offices for publicity.

      After seeing the whole fiasco with their advertisements and such, I hope to dear god it isn't.

      Also, Japan has an almost disgusting obsession with cosplaying just about every goddamn thing they advertise...

    Pretty amusing seeing a girl dressed up like that to be honest. It kind of bypasses being attractive and has gone into the realm of weird. That helmet will never be sexy.

      That's only because it's 10 sizes too big for her, however yes and no about bypassing attractiveness. Seems they have gone for the body factor more than the face factor.

      In other words...female + boobs + skimpy outfit + weapon = mass puddles of drool that leads to the kind of group people base all gamers off

      In more words...a pretty damn good advertisement scheme regardless of your personal view or taste on the matter

    Yeah. The helmet really killed it for me. It looks like Big Daddy from Bioshock is trying to be sexy. *shudders*
