Cruxis Mana | June 29, 2007 | News | DS
It would seem that Mortal Kombat is finally coming to the DS. Fitted with loads of WiFi capabilities and the ability to battle your friends on the move, with a range of characters ! ^^ :

Ultimate Mortal Kombat combines the visceral thrills of the classic Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and the addictive puzzle action of Puzzle Kombat (a component of Midway's best-selling Mortal Kombat: Deception) in a single DS-friendly package. With new record-keeping capability, and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection multiplayer, players will be able take UMK anywhere for fighting action on the go.

Sounds good, MK on the DS- why didn't they think of it sooner. Only thing I'm slightly worried about is the graphics. MK-styled games haven't been amazing in that department, let alone on a handheld.

They finally put MK on the DS, so now I can play my favorite game on the go. Couldn't care less about graphics, as long
    as it's good.

I think the graphics look quite good. The graphics on the DS have definitely gotten better since when they were released, such as the Opening Sequence for Final Fantasy III.

Oo and I added a video for 'ya all ^^

I really hope they add in new characters/fatalities and things of the sort. I doubt they will, because the game is based on sprites from the `90s.
