A few days ago, it was announced that KOEI will be presenting a massive "Samurai Festival" this coming March. According to the official press conference, it is expected that an amazing 80,000 people will attend the event, which will promote the recently-released Wii title Samurai Warriors 3, celebrate samurai history and culture, and show audiences "the true spirit of Japan".
Taking place on the 6th and 7th, the festival will feature some of Japan's biggest celebrities. And, of course, popular Japanese singer and actor GACKT (pictured) will be a big part of the event. GACKT not only sang the theme songs and voice-acted for Samurai Warriors 3, but he also appeared as samurai warlord Uesugi Kenshin in the TV series "Fuurinkazan", and was recently voted the "sexiest Japanese celebrity in samurai wear". So no doubt this will be a fun event for both him and his fans.
