My hope is that this game is good enough to make EA realize how outdated NCAAF and Madden are becoming.

Madden 10 seems like a great and inventive effort though. Online co-op, c'mon.

Have to admit, I haven't played the latest Madden. I've had most of the NCAA games since '04 though, and there's been pretty minimal changes. The recruiting has changed a lot, but it hasn't necessarily gotten better, just different.

Online co-op does sound interesting though... Does the screen have to zoom extremely far out if one person plays as a wide out and the other is the QB?

Haven't actually played it. Here is our feature on it, though.

I just know EA, rightfully, got a lot of crap for a lot of years, but have since seemed to learn their lesson, and have made (mostly at least) meaningful updates to sequels, franchises, etc. Just check the reviews for the last couple FIFA titles, Need for Speed Shift, etc.
