Earlier today scans surfaced revealing Square Enix's next major project for the DS: Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2. The game will be a followup to 2007's monster scouting hit Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, a game that was widely received both in Japan and in the West.

Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 will have more volume, especially in the monsters department. Expect 300+ creatures to scout. Just like Dragon Quest Monsters Joker, monsters fight for you and can combine with other monsters to make custom creations.
