New Pokemon Game Coming To DS This Year

Today, it was announced that a brand new Pokemon title from GameFreak is currently in development for DS. The game is planned for release sometime this year and will introduce a batch of brand new Pokemon and locations.

    Isn't this the first time two generations of games have been on the same console?

      Well they can say for their defense that technically they did release a new console which is the DSi. Console innovation is pretty low nowadays so instead of releasing new consoles they just release "upgrades". GG
