Konami's David Cox has revealed a new batch of tidbits on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Apparently, the game will be approximately 15 hours long and will have quite a bit of platforming where players will use combat cross to swing, grip and grapple around the environment.

Konami’s David Cox has revealed several new gameplay details on the official Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Twitter.

The producer said the upcoming Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 game will have plenty of platforming where players will be using the combat cross to swing, grip and grapple around the environment.

Another interesting tidbit is that Konami is planning to make the game 15 hours long for the average player, which is quite long for an action-adventure title.

15 hours is pretty good for an action game, they usually last only 8.

Yeah, sounds pretty good for an Action title. The graphics look so great for this game too, hope it brings Castlevania to more people.

I really shoudln't get my hopes up for this game considering the other 3D Castlevanias, but I can't help it. It sounds awesome.

I would be worried to, but it seems that they're taking it in a new direction compared to Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness. Honestly aslong as the areas aren't all the same and the combat is fun, we'll have a good game.
