A few years back, Nibris announced a promising Wii survival horror titled Sadness. It had an interesting premise, some eerie concept art and was touted as having the best graphics for Wii. But we never saw any in-game screenshots or footage, leading many gamers to believe the game never even existed and was all some big joke.

Whether it never existed or simply became vaporware is unknown, but it's pretty obvious the game is never going to happen.

To add more fuel to the fire, it has recently been discovered that the official site for the game has mysteriously disappeared. The domain has collapsed and is now up for grabs.

While Nibris still has their splash page for Sadness on their official site, the actual homepage for Sadness has disappeared. The domain has fallen through and is now ripe for the picking. I think we all knew that this game wasn't happening, and now we have a little bit more in the way of evidence. I wonder when Nibris is going to speak up on this entire fiasco. I think they owe Wii owners that. Thanks to B for the heads up.

Could be a marketing ploy; maybe it'll come up again in a few days only creepier before going down and returning to how it was.

I lost hope for this game a long time ago. But still, sad to see that such an interesting-looking game amounted to nothing.

I completely forgot about this game tbh and only remembered it when I saw this article.
