If you have been into an EB Games store lately, you may have noticed the massive "Grow Up Australia!" posters in the windows.

Yep, EB Games is getting behind the push for Australia to have an R18+ rating for video games. The franchise recently announced that all 350 EB Games stores across Australia will have a petition that customers can sign, lobbying the Australian Government to introduce an R18+ rating.

EB recently polled their customers and, of the 50,000 people that responded, 84% of them were for an R18+ rating.

Australians have until February the 14th to sign the petition, so get to it right now!

You can either sign the petition in-store or on their official website.

EB Games, Australia’s largest videogame retailer, has now officially thrown its support behind the campaign for the introduction of an R18+ classification for games.

EB has announced that in all 350 EB Games stores across Australia customers will be able to sign a petition that will be used to lobby the Government to introduce an R18+ classification category for computer games.

The petition can also be viewed and signed online at the EB Games website.

I'll have to go into town some time and check that out then, my local one does have a thing for sticking up posters everywhere... in fact, too many.

I did not, at any point, discover that their online poll allowed you to vote more than once and I did not, at any point, abuse that fact.

Did the form not too long ago. Felt good.

Although I'm not a fan of EB Games, I'm happy they are also supporting this movement. Clearly they are aware that an 18+ rating is in the best interest for all aspects of the video game industry in Australia.

I'll sign it if they stop charging me $20 more for games than the JB-HiFi across the street.
