Sony & Epic (Gears of War) Developing A PS3 Exclusive

Rumours are flowing that Epic the developers of Gears of War and Sony are developing an exclusive PS3 game. The game is being worked on the Unreal engine.

On the 1up yours podcast they have revealed that Sony is working with Epic on an exclusive game. Apparently this is in conjunction with the rumor we reported with Sony and Epic working together on the unreal Engine. We are speculating that more details will be unveiled at the game during this years E3.

What Genre could this possibly be ?

    Looks like this is what the previous rumours about GoW coming to the PS3 was really about. It seems Epic aren't creating GoW for the PS3, just another game. I've got a feeling it will also be an Action Shooter.

    If Epic can create something as amazing as Gears of War, then I'll be extremely surprised. But still, Epic are an extremely talented developer who excell when it comes to creative flare. I look forward to hearing more.

    This is great news for Sony, as they could use some exclusives for a change. Not some exclusive that's only exclusive to them for 5 months like Virtua Fighter 5, but a solid, actual exclusive like...Heavenly Sword or something.

    I hope it isn't better than Gears of War. That is one of the best games out right now and if the PS3 creates a better game I will be pissed. Should help the sales though.

        I have to agree. They created Gears of War its only natural if they make a game more superior to Gears. And That could be good for sony. Hopefully that and the Agency will kick ass on the ps3. Lets pray on what it is at E3

      Not that hard to do, Gears of War is only as acclaimed as it is because of what i call "Halo Syndrome" it was the only good game on the system after such a long spell of shitty games, so it appealed to more people than it probably would have had there been 4-5 other killer apps on the console.

      Why does that keep being brought up? The PS3 has some exclusives and hundreds on the way, the only reason the Xbox 360 had lots of exclusives was because there was no other console the games could go on... Now there is alot of those so called exclusives are also on the PS3 for their second outing.

        Thank you so much, i can't believe ppl are foolish enough to post about more exclusives. Half if not more of the XBox games are multi so i dont see how there having more exclusives.
