Maggie Modjeski always used to tell her kids that video games were no good for them. That was until she received a gift, a gift that turned out to be Wii Fit. Since then, she's enjoyed watching her kids being active and having fun, changing her view of video games. Although she still says there's such a thing as too much, in moderation it's now okay by her.

After more than a month of staring at the box, I finally opened it. Inside was a Christmas gift, one I didn't ask for, or ever indicate wanting. I knew a lot of others who had received the same thing and loved it, but to me, it seemed too good to be true - and against everything I had preached for so long to my children.

The gift was the Wii Fit, the revolutionary new way to exercise and have fun with the family. No matter how great it sounded in my mind, it was just another video game.

Not gonna lie, it turned my mom into a gamer somewhat after playing Wii Sports and other party games for the Wii. She always hated when I spent more money on video games and when she finally played Wii Sports and all, she loved it. Sometimes I would lose my Wii for a week just because she was playing it.

She complains when I spend money on $70 games. But she likes it when I buy a party game for the Wii.

My parents have played some Wii party games before, and they enjoyed them a lot. I tried getting them to play some other games, too. Didn't work out.
