The New Pokemon Has Finally Been Revealed

A few days ago, it was announced that a brand new Pokemon game was in the works and gamers were given a glimpse of a new fifth generation Pokemon... or rather, they were given a glimpse of its silhouette. The silhouette lead to much speculation in gaming forums as to what the new Pokemon will look like.

Well, according to CoroCoro, that Pokemon has finally been revealed. And so has its pre-evolution form.

Say hello to Zorua and Zoroark.

It reveals the silhouetted Pokémon and its apparent pre-evolution. With thanks to yaminokame for translations, we have the details posted in the scan.

First, the pre-evolution Pokémon is called Zorua/ Zoroa (ゾロア) and is a Dark-type Pokémon. Its classification is Evil Fox Pokémon, it is 0.7m tall and 12.5kg

Secondly, the Pokémon in the sihlouette is said to be called Zoroark/Zoroaaku (ゾロアーク)and is also a Dark-type Pokémon. Its classification is Monster Fox Pokémon, it is 1.6m tall and 81.1kg.

These Pokémon have been confirmed as real and CoroCoro indicates there will be more revealed next month, in addition to Zorua & Zoroark's abilities!     It must be tough being the guy who has to come up with new Pokemon ideas, considering that there are now gajillions of them now.

    I'm just glad that it has no relation to Lucario. Maybe I can tolerate the 5th generation.

    I get a Digimon vibe too. But eh it should be interesting to see what we get next month now.

      Its just a dark version of Lucario. They have definately run out of ideas.

        They ran out of ideas a while ago. It's no dark version of Lucario and I doubt it will be any posrer child of a SSB game either.

    As I said on Neoseeker, the shadow Pokemon is hugely disappointing and nowhere near as cool as one of the fakemon. Having said this, that fire-stage one is quite cute so it balances out. Won't be on my team at any rate.

    I ama sucker for the Pokemon games, so no matter how weird/stupid the new pokemon might look, I'll still purchase the games. They are fun, all that matters to me.

    It seems like every generation gets moar weirder and weider looking Pokemon.
