SSB Brawl: Assist Trophies

The latest update on the SSBB website. Assist trophies are characters that come to aid the fighter that called them. Pretty much they are guest characters that you are not unable to play as in the game. How many will there be???

What’s an Assist Trophy?!

Well, these are characters who appear to aid the fighter that called them forth. Basically, they’re guest characters separate from Smash’s playable roster!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is sort of like a festival that all sorts of characters show up for. Bear in mind, though, that you can’t control any of the characters appearing on these pages. Let there be no mistake about that.

In any case, you won’t know who is in an Assist Trophy until you use it.

Assist Trophies allow you to enjoy even more characters who couldn’t quite make it as playable fighters. You may even see some that only the most dedicated fans will recognize, so you’ll have to look forward to them.

    Looks really cool, it's like a Pokeball for all games. Too bad that this shows that Samurai Goroh and Hammer Bro will not be playable characters though.

    This looks very cool indeed. Look at the nintendog! XD

    I like the idea of it having other characters from Nintendo games. Looks like it will be a great addition to the game.

      I like how they cleared it up with the Nintendog because when we saw it at last years E3 we had no clue what to think of it and now we know it will be one of the who knows how many Assist Trophies.

    I like the Hammer Bro trophy. You know what would be cool? If you could use trophies as items.

    Very nice, these trophies will be used very often for sure. I wonder how much damage one of the "better" trophies will do, and the overall usefulness in the many battles to be had.

    These + Pokeballs = Frantic!

    I can't wait to see all the different characters that will get thrown in the game now.

    I wonder if there will be rarer characters, sort of like legendary pokemon, that do more damage but appear less frequently?

    These look awesome so many possibilites for characters to be in now. I wonder if these will have their own version of Goldeen and if so what will it be.
