Warhawk will be hitting store shelves at $59.99 which also features extra content and comes with a bluetooth headset. The store download able version will be around 30-40 dollars. So if you don't have a headset, this is a deal for you.

UPDATE: Sony's released an official statement that confirms the $59.99 price tag for Warhawk, but doesn't specify what's happening with the downloadable version. For that, we'll have to wait a little longer.

The highly anticipated title Warhawk, a PLAYSTATION 3 exclusive, will be available both as a downloadable title via PLAYSTATION Network and at retail stores as a Blu-ray disc on August 28, 2007. The Blu-ray version will retail at stores for $59.99 and will be bundled with a Jabra Bluetooth headset ($39 value), bonus features and upcoming product trailers. Pricing for the PLAYSTATION Network download of Warhawk has not been announced.

ORIGINAL STORY: With Warhawk hype more white-hot than ever due to the ongoing beta, PlayStation 3 owners have been dying to hear news on the game's finished release. We know the game's getting a retail and downloadable drop, and the retail one's coming with a bluetooth headset. Now, thanks to a listing on EBGames, we know just a bit more.

If the listing -- which has now been removed, not long after 1UP asked Sony Computer Entertainment America to comment, which they (so far) haven't -- is to be believed, the retail version of Warhawk will indeed cost $60. The bluetooth headset included is a Jabra BT125. Reviews of this headset around the web are fairly positive, with ZDNet giving it a 7.7. Bluetooth review site Blue Tomorrow cites excellent sound quality and an intuitive design as pros, listing only some minor problems with the volume for cons.

On its own the Jabra BT125 retails for $44.99, although it's available for $35 at Amazon.

Minus the cost of the headset, the downloadable version should only cost $20 or $30 tops, although there's no set word from Sony on this yet. We'll let you know as soon as that drops, but meantime check out this smoking 1UP preview for Warhawk.
