Nintendo re-files Luigi's Mansion trademark

Nintendo recently decided to get a new trademark for Luigi's Mansion. This could possibly mean a new sequel or they're bring back the New Play Control...which was discontinued. A sequel seems possible because of the NP discontinued and how Charles Martinet said on his Twitter a couple months back about doing some voice acting for a new Mario game.

Out of the blue, Nintendo has grabbed themselves a brand-new trademark for none other than Luigi's Mansion in North America. What is the reasoning behind this? Well, we could guess that Nintendo is simply re-upping the original trademark...but that's no fun! Obviously, we're all hoping that Nintendo is going to give the original title a 'New Play Control' makeover, or better yet, give us a sequel. Either way, something is up with Luigi's Mansion, and I can't wait to find out what it is.

      I just really want another Luigi game tbh. And I would love for a sequel. That would definitely keep me happy. Though I'm still waiting for Paper Luigi.

        I've been wanting a paper luigi since The Thousand Year Door came out.

        Put the writers from the Mario & Luigi Saga in it and you've got yourself an amazing game.

        As long as it's not like the wii Paper Mario.

          I want like a Paper Luigi based off the stories he talks about in TTYD. I always wondered what actually went on and how much fun it would be to play his side of that story and see Mario in Rogueport and have him...or more his partners tell you about there adventures.

    So there may be another reason for me to buy a Wii.I still plan on buying a Wii just for NSMBW.

    Never played the first one because the last Nintendo console I owned was the SNES.

    Luigi's Mansion 2? Hellz yeah count me in. I'd think it would work pretty well with the Wii controls.

    Also Paper Luigi (as said above) would be serious win.

    luigi's mansion was thoroughly enjoyable, but i don't think i'd want to play a sequel.

    Best launch game ever, haha. Definitely made the GC worth buying when it first came out. If they do make a sequel, then it better be good, as the first raised the bar pretty high.

    I'm ok with a sequel as long as they actually make the game a lot longer. I beat Luigui's Mansion in one day. One day!
