The King of the Koopas is back and still the heaviest of all of the SSB fighters. Who didn't see this big guy returning and getting some revenge on the other fighters?

The biggest and the heaviest of fighters, Bowser has a slightly different flavor this time around!

To be honest, there are a LOT of characters that offer a slightly different flavor this time around. If you think they’re all going to be the same as they have been, it’ll be rough for you.

I just want Marth, damn you Nintendo! Show the people that matter to me for a change...like Snake, Marth, and a new Pokemon to play as.

When I went on the Smash Bros site today, the update I saw had the Mushroom symbol with a Characters symbol on it. I was hoping for it to be Peach, but I scrolled down to find Bowser. At least the new updates are showing updated characters. The graphics on Bowser now look better than they have ever been in any game. This does make me wonder more what Peach will look like though.

The update is pretty signifigant IMO, since it's the first time we get to see how Nintendo is envisioning Bowser on the Wii. Get a load of the big lug when he's in his shell!

P.S. Wow, his Wikipedia entry is already updated with the SSBB render.

Finally! I was waiting for Bowser's info to come up. Though I'm a little disappointed to say he doesn't look all that different from his Melee form. I was hoping he'd get some sort of cool makeover like a lot of the others.

He has more detail. Isn't that good enough?

Give his dash a little more acceleration, and I'm all for him. Otherwise, he was really really cool (a dinosaur/turtle with like 40 spikes, including spike collars? come on, that's cool), but he was a terrible character.

Not to mention his flamethrower had TERRRRIBLEEE lag on startup. @__@

How are they going to be able to change Bowser into something we don't already know him as? I mean look at him, he's still the badass character we know and love him for, pshhh.

Well, however they want I guess. Look how different they've made Zelda for a start.

Zelda and Link are just updated from Twilight Princess. Bowser's last game, Super Mario Sunshine, didn't really alter his look all that much, beyond making him gigantic.

Seeing all these characters from my N64 days (I never got a Gamecube) brings back so many good memories <3

Bowser looks so great with more detail.
...though he doesn't look much bigger than Pikachu in the ofurth image? I would have sworn he, or at least his shell, was a lot bigger.

Nice to see Bowser looking as fearsome as ever in Brawl. I loved to fight him in Melee, he had some cool moves. With attacks like that and his Giga Bowser final smash, Bowser is looking to be a powerful character for Brawl.
