Two new Wrestlers were announced to today to be added to Smackdown vs RAW! 2008. They are Jeff Hardy and Sandman.

They will be joining the current ensemble of Undertaker, Bobby Lashley, Kane, Triple H, John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Chris Masters, and Randy Orton and will make it a total of 10 wrestlers to choose from. Hopefully there will be more names being added in the near future as well.

It's been awhile since we heard any news on the SmackDown front, but the folks at THQ let a few cats out of the bag today when it revealed two more Superstars for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008. The good news? Neither wrestler was in last year's game.

Oh god Jeff Hardy, I heard he was back in the WWE is that true? All I know is I am a huge admirer of him due to the fact he does moonsaults and flips off insane heights. I fully welcome him back to the genre.

yeah he returned mid last year after his long bout with drug addiction and being on a rival brand, he then won the intercontinental belt and has reformed the hardy boyz tag team.

And he's nearing a year of being back in the WWE and no probems yet.

Anyways I'm glad that he has been confirmed for the game and same with Sandman.

No surprise here. Jeff Hardy and The Sandman are major players in the WWE and deserve to be in the game. I'm glad they are in.

Only 10 names have been confirmed, it makes it seem its going to bew released late, i hope not though, although it can only be good having current WWE superstars in the game, that means the Sandman's entrance will be pretty sweet!!! Just hope he does not walk through people in the crowd due to weak graphics

nah i doubt it, being an upcoming title for PS3 demands that the graphics be above any standard..
