According to Enterbrain's early weekly sales report for February 15th through February 21th, Resident Evil: Alternative Edition has topped the PS3 sales charts, pushing God Eater down to second.

It took a game with a name as big as Resident Evil to push God Eater from the top spot on the sales charts. Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition debuted on the PS3 last week and topped the charts, pushing God Eater into second place. God Eater had claimed the top spot for the two weeks prior.
